Influence of Different Material Properties on Cold Working of AgSnO2 Electrical Contact Material

Abstract—Based on the finite element software, a calculation model of cold working forming (pier thickness) of rivet type electrical contact materials was established, and the effects of different material properties (elongation, elastic modulus and hardness) on the cold working of AgSnO2 electrical contact materials were analyzed. The proposed simulation technology fills the gap in the force analysis method of silver alloy rivets, and can provide certain technical theory and process parameter design basis for rivet deformation control.
