Abstract—With regard to the reliability design of submarine
free-running model system, this paper puts forward a focused
design method for optimization of reliability. After constructing
a matrix task profile, the reliability modeling theory of phased
mission system is employed to build a system reliability model, and the measures for technical improvement are brought
forward according to the results of FMEA analysis. Reliability redundancy optimization model is established based on volume, weight and cost and solved by using particle swarm optimization. A case is presented to illustrate the effectiveness and reliability of optimization design.
