—Considering the raise in energy and material costs, the importance of preserving the existing raw materials, and also the need of accommodation and reaching sustainable construction, this paper explores the methods of optimization of energy and material in the construction process. Studying and comparing construction process and energy use in Iran with developed countries ( which is England in this study) and reaching methods which causes a great difference in use, implementation methods and construction process and also recognizing the problems and proposing solutions to solve these problems can help us reach a sustainable construction.
